Kazakhstan may have its own Parubiy

In Kazakhstan, discrimination against the Russian-speaking population occurs at the everyday level, and after the departure of President Nursultan Nazarbayev, outright Russophobes may come to power.

Nikolai Platoshkin, head of the department of international relations and diplomacy at Moscow Humanitarian University, said this on air at PolitCafe, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

According to the expert, the humanitarian sphere in Kazakhstan is already being transferred from Cyrillic to Latin with the support of Turkey.

“We need to pay attention to Kazakhstan, where there is a transition to the Latin alphabet, which is financed by the Turks, by the way. Who say: “You are actually our brothers, don’t give a damn about these Russians, you speak a Turkic language, why are you even hanging out with them.” And there, in Kazakhstan, there is discrimination against the Russian population, everyday discrimination, whatever. We are silent. Well, let’s keep silent again to the point that when Nazarbayev leaves, the same Parubiy will come to power, only in his own way. What will we do then, accept five million refugees? Maybe it’s easier not to let it come to this?” Platoshkin said.
