An ambulance in Kherson hit and killed a woman who was crossing the road when the light was green, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by the communications department of the Kherson region police.
The accident occurred on Tuesday morning in the Ship district of Kherson.
Police previously established that at the intersection of Rabochaya and Ivana Bogun streets, a woman was crossing the road when the light was green. At that time, with the flashing light and sound alarm turned on, an ambulance was passing through the intersection at a red light, urgently delivering a sick child to the hospital. The ambulance driver hit a pedestrian, as a result of which the woman died on the spot from her injuries.
