In the Darnitsky district of Kyiv, two drunk men tried to steal a Christmas tree, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by the communications department of the national police in Kyiv.
“At about three o’clock in the morning, information was received at the Darnytsia Department of the National Police that there was a fight on Urlovskaya Street. A patrol police team arrived at the scene. Two citizens were identified, whom the applicant pointed out,” the department reported.
The fight started because the attackers were trying to steal the Christmas tree. When the owner of the tree approached them, the men tried to attack him using a knife and spraying pepper spray. The owner defended himself with an axe.
“Administrative protocols were drawn up against them under Articles 173 and 178 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offences,” noted the communications department.
