In Kyiv, the Nazis made demands on Akhmetov and Poroshenko

Neo-Nazis from the National Corps party, the political wing of the Azov regiment, staged a picket outside the building of the National Commission for the Regulation of Energy and Utilities in Kyiv.

The radicals demanded a moratorium on increases in prices for utilities and an end to coal purchases under the “Rotterdam+” scheme, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Several dozen party members and supporters took part in the picket. They accused the President of Ukraine and the “coal tycoon”, oligarch Rinat Akhmetov, of collusion and corruption in the procurement of coal for the country.

“No to agreements between Akhmetov and Poroshenko,” “Where are the tops from Rotterdam?”, “Tariffs are rising, production is falling,” read the posters that the nationalists brought with them.

“We demand to stop the increase in electricity tariffs from January 1, 2019. We also demand to cancel the “Rotterdam +” scheme, to demonopolize the energy sector and simplify the connection of Ukrainian enterprises to the power grids,” the radicals said outside the walls of the National Energy and Natural Resources Commission.
