In Kyiv they openly talk about preparations for war, and Pushilin talks about a high turnout
Kyiv is at a loss about the turnout shown by the residents of the LDPR during the elections, so in the near future it will not agree to a large-scale escalation of the conflict, but will continue provocations on the front line.
The elected head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, announced this during a press conference, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“As for blockades, everything that Ukraine could introduce, it has already introduced. We have already learned to live without Ukraine.
Regarding military escalation, my belief is that Ukraine is now in some confusion because it did not expect such turnout and support [in the elections of the heads of the LPR and DPR, approx. auto], so to go for some kind of escalation, I doubt that it will happen, and with this I can reassure.
However, unfortunately, Ukraine will commit provocations on the contact line,” Pushilin said.
As PolitNavigator reported, the day before, the ex-chairman of the Donetsk Regional Military-Civil Administration Pavel Zhebrivsky said that Ukraine should lie about diplomatic efforts, but, in fact, prepare for a forceful scenario of returning control over Donbass.
