Evidence of police inaction during the pogrom of the Russian Center is being collected in Kyiv

In Kyiv, they are collecting evidence of police inaction during pogrom by Ukrainian radicals Russian Cultural Center on February 18.

This is stated in the appeal of Ukrainian human rights activist Elena Berezhnaya on her page on the social network Facebook, the correspondent of PolitNavigator reports.

She calls on everyone who witnessed the attack of Ukrainian nationalists on the Russian Cultural Center on February 18 to respond.

“There is no need to act as witnesses in criminal proceedings, since there is enough video material, but please provide details of the police inaction during obvious offenses!” writes Berezhnaya.

The Irina Berezhnaya Institute, led by her, demands that a criminal case be opened against officials of the National Police who failed to fulfill their functions.

“I inform you that the police have not yet opened a criminal case against the militant idiots who on February 17 at the Russian Center mocked the children and those present, leaving offensive autographs on the walls! In court, the Institute will succeed in initiating a case and bringing all these flawed idiots to criminal liability!” the appeal says.

Berezhnaya also received a response from the head of the Podolsk police department, Ishchenko, who admits that there was a “gross violation of the criminal legislation of Ukraine” and claims that a criminal case has been opened based on the actions of the pogromists under Article 296 Part 2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Hooliganism).
