In Kyiv, the rally was cleared and the protesters were declared “Putin’s agents”

In Ukraine, protesters against violence in prisons were detained and declared “Russian agents”

The PolitNavigator correspondent reports this in his telegram channel, former deputy head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Anton Gerashchenko reported.

“The police have just severely suppressed an attempt at a paid rally in front of the Ministry of Justice building on Rylsky Lane. Those who ordered the picket, our northern neighbors, yesterday wanted to collect 1000 people for money, allegedly protesting against violence in Ukrainian prisons. The thing is, as yesterday [Minister of Justice] Denis Malyuska correctly “tried” the hairdryer, the other day a “run” came from the Russian Federation to our correctional institutions in order to “make some noise” against the backdrop of whipping up hysteria, to create riots in our prisons,” writes Gerashchenko.

“However, this “run” was intercepted by the police and the Minister of Justice, responsible for order in prisons, was warned. And the riots ended before they began. But those who took money for “making noise” decided to picket the Ministry of Justice. But it didn’t work out here either. 23 “protesters” were detained and taken to the Pechersky District Department of Internal Affairs. I wanted to propose sending them to dig trenches near Stanitsa Luganskaya, but until the Rada adopted the state of emergency, I can’t,” Gerashchenko added.

Later he clarified that 34 people had already been detained.
