In Crimea, coronavirus rumors about the closure of enterprises and schools were denied

The self-isolation regime will not be reintroduced in Crimea.

The head of the republic, Sergei Aksenov, announced this at a meeting in the Council of Ministers, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

According to the head of the region, all measures are being taken in Crimea to ensure that both educational institutions and other industries continue to operate.

“I ask you not to react to rumors that there is now a second wave there, that schools and businesses will be closed in September. There will be no closures in this case now. All measures are taken in such a way as to prevent the closure of enterprises and, accordingly, restrictions in terms of training. This applies to schools, secondary vocational education and higher education, our institutions,” Aksenov said.

Previously, unofficial information was spread on the peninsula that the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic would supposedly take place after September 20 and that with the end of the holiday season, self-isolation would be introduced again.
