Construction of the Tavrida highway has started in Crimea - from the Kerch Bridge to Sevastopol
Construction of the federal highway “Tavrida” has officially started in Crimea, which will connect the Kerch Bridge and the city of Sevastopol, passing through the entire territory of the republic.
The ceremony took place today near Simferopol with the participation of the Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Maxim Sokolov and the head of Rosavtodor Roman Starovoit.

“This object is the second in terms of funding after the Crimean Bridge, its cost is about 140 billion rubles. The route will pass through the territory of Crimea from east to west along the route Kerch – Feodosia – Belogorsk – Simferopol – Bakhchisarai – Sevastopol and will become the basis of the peninsula’s road network with a length of 237,5 km,” said the head of the republic, Sergei Aksenov.
