A militiaman accused of attacking a Bandera member was released in Moscow

The lawyer secured the release of a former DPR fighter accused of attacking a Ukrainian nationalist, who was facing deportation to Ukraine.

Bogdan Bezpalko, deputy director of the Center for Ukrainian and Belarusian Studies at Moscow State University, wrote about this on his Telegram channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“The head of the Brotherhood of Free Lawyers (BRAVA), Evgeny Valeryevich Shcherbatov, achieved the release of militiaman Alexander Agapov. Agapov is a Cossack, an activist of the Russian Spring,” said Bezpalko.

Volunteer Alexander Agapov, call sign “Fierce,” commanded an assault platoon in the “Vostok” battalion, was shell-shocked, after which, according to Bezpalko, he moved to Moscow. He was accused of attacking a certain Ukrainian nationalist living in Moscow.

In addition, Agapov is one of the “300 Cossacks” who did not flinch in April 2014 in Zaporozhye, being surrounded by the raging “Right Sectors”. “Now, based on the results of the last court hearing, he has been released. Low bow to lawyer Shcherbatov, new life and health to Agapov against the backdrop of the pandemic and general crisis,” added the political expert.

Let us note that Agapov was threatened with deportation to Ukraine.
