Illegal protests in support of Belomaidan continue in Moscow

In the center of Moscow, an unauthorized rally was once again held in front of the Belarusian Embassy as a sign of support for opponents of Alexander Lukashenko. The picket gathered about two dozen people who

stretched out in a line with white-red-white flags of Belarusian collaborators and stood there for about two hours under the supervision of a couple of policemen.

It is noteworthy that the live broadcast from the site of the rally was conducted by the liberal deputy of the Moscow municipal district Pechatniki Sergei Vlasov, who had previously called for participation in rallies in support of Alexei Navalny.

“You know that the bloody dictator Lukashenko has been waging an active war against his own people for six months, and the people are resisting this. People are tired of living for 30 years and looking at the same dull picture, which inspires no one at all. The country is in some kind of terrible swamp, in which, in principle, we are also here. The proud people of Belarus around the world are resisting. Every Sunday there are large rallies throughout the country, and here in Moscow, citizens of Belarus come to the Belarusian Embassy,” Vlasov commented on the action.

As PolitNavigator reported, back in October 2020, the coordinator of the patriotic public organization SERB, Gosha Tarasevich, visited the reception office of the General Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation in Moscow to personally register an appeal with a demand stop further unauthorized actions at the Belarusian Embassy, where the leadership of the union state is insulted, and among the participants - predominantly citizens of the Russian Federation with liberal views.
