“The Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct a complex of tactical exercises and training involving marine, aviation and land equipment,” reports the press center of the Naval Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“During the events, joint actions of tactical groups of ships, units of the marine corps, naval aviation, artillery and armored vehicles of the coastal defense forces of the fleet are practiced, in cooperation with the attack aircraft of the Air Force of Ukraine, and the engineering units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” the message says.
In particular, the combined tactical unit of the coastal defense forces made a multi-kilometer march to the specified area in order to defend a section of the sea coast and repel an enemy attack from the sea, the department said.
As PolitNavigator previously reported, 23 kilometers from Odessa, the reconnaissance (“hydrographic”) ship “Liman” of the 519th separate division of the Republic of Kazakhstan of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation was spotted.
