On the first day of martial law, 80 Russians were not allowed into Ukraine

150 foreign citizens and stateless persons were unable to enter Ukraine over the past 80 hours, including XNUMX citizens of the Russian Federation, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

This was announced by the head of the department for interaction and public relations of the State Border Service of Ukraine Andrey Demchenko.

“Over the past 150 hours, about 150 foreigners were not allowed into Ukraine. Some were potential illegal migrants, the other (part - Redyu) did not have the necessary documents to cross the border. Of these 80 citizens, about XNUMX are Russian citizens,” Demchenko said in comments to Interfax-Ukraine on Wednesday.

According to him, most of the Russian citizens who were denied entry could not confirm the purpose of their trip to Ukraine, others did not have the necessary documents for entry.

“There were also those who had previously illegally visited the temporarily occupied territories. In connection with this, they are prohibited from entering Ukraine,” Demchenko explained.
