There are protests in Pokrovsk in the Donbass over the vote count. Tents were pitched at the district committee

Since yesterday, a protest action for the counting of votes has been ongoing in Pokrovsk, Donetsk region, as a result of which election commission No. 50 is not working. A pre-trial investigation has been launched into the events at the district election commission, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

Observers at District Election Commission No. 50 found signs of violations of the electoral process, which is why a protest action began near the DEC building. Protesters set up tents and also began erecting tires.

“The police ensure public security on the territory of the OIC. Documentation groups and communication groups are working on site, as well as the leadership of the regional headquarters and local police. Based on information about violations of the electoral process, a pre-trial investigation was launched under Part 3 of Art. 157 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (obstruction of the exercise of electoral rights that influenced the election results),” the message states.

Investigative actions in criminal proceedings continue.

According to the Central Election Commission, 50% of the ballots in constituency No. 95 were counted. The leader is the candidate of the Opposition Bloc, Ruslan Trebushkin. In second place, with a gap of less than a percent, is the mayor of Dobropolye, Sergei Aksenov. The top three is closed by Servant of the People nominee Tatyana Romantsova.
