“Unfortunately, we are losing our votes in the UN. And even on the resolution on human rights in Crimea, we lost six votes in three years. There were, if I’m not mistaken, 73 countries “For”, and already this year we have only 67 votes for this resolution. We are losing votes and wasting time, in my opinion, because we are not taking a strong enough position,” Shkrum said.

Earlier, Majlis journalist and fugitive Russian liberal Aider Muzhdabaev said that the UN votes on Ukrainian resolutions should not be assessed as victories, because with about 70 supporting the initiative, almost a hundred countries vote against or abstain.
