The anniversary of NATO's terrible crime was celebrated in the Republika Srpska

NATO Bombing Remembrance Day is celebrated today in the Republika Srpska (part of the confederation of Bosnia and Herzegovina) in memory of those who died between August 30 and September 14, 1995. These days, the North Atlantic Alliance, without the approval of the UN Security Council, carried out a large-scale military operation on the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina - “Deliberate Force”.

Serbian member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) Milorad Dodik said that NATO, by bombing the Republika Srpska and Serbia, wrote itself into the most shameful pages of history on the European continent after the Second World War.

“With air operations against the Republika Srpska, NATO openly took one of the sides in the civil war in BiH and thereby influenced the final outcome of the conflict. The depleted uranium that was dumped on the territory of the Republic of Sakha and Serbia during those operations is still killing our children to this day. Thus, we can say that NATO operations even after 24 years have detrimental effects for the Republika Srpska and its people,” Rossiyskaya Gazeta quotes Dodik.

During the aggression, NATO aircraft bombed the positions of local Serbs, whom the West intended to force to agree to the international plan for the Bosnian settlement.

In two weeks, 3206 sorties were flown, about a thousand bombs were dropped, 13 Tomahawk sea-launched cruise missiles were used, 46 RS military personnel and over 50 civilians were killed, and local residents are still dying from the consequences of using depleted uranium ammunition.
