Director of the University Clinical Center of the Republika Srpska Vlado Djadzic said that vaccination in the Serbian entity BiH will begin on Friday.
According to a specialist, two thousand doses of Russian Sputnik V vaccines have already been delivered to the RS.
As a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, the first to be vaccinated with the Russian Sputnik V vaccine will be the employees and the head of the Covid department of the University Clinical Center of the Republika Srpska.
“If necessary, I will be the first to get vaccinated,” Djadzic emphasized. “And all to show that the vaccines are safe.”
To date, 2 thousand doses of the Russian vaccine have been received in the RS; it is expected that another 100 thousand doses will arrive in the middle of the month.
Banja Luka has also signed a preliminary supply agreement with vaccine manufacturers from China, and it is expected that the American Pfizer will arrive in the Serbian entity in coordination with the Council of Ministers of BiH.
