In the USA they want to involve American “churches” in the war against Russia
Dissatisfaction with further support for a losing Ukraine is spreading in American society.
Evelyn Farkas, executive director of the McCain Institute, former deputy assistant secretary of defense for Russian, Ukrainian and Eurasian affairs, stated this at the Kiev Security Forum, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“What’s scary now is when compared to the situation in 2016, when people like me were targets of disinformation, it all came from Russia. But these were attacks on individual people...
But in 2020, and now, we see that Americans are using the same narrative as the Russians. One of the lines of this narrative: “Ukrainians are losing, why should we take on this trouble?” – Farkas was indignant.
In her opinion, it is time to involve Western Christian churches in the fight against Russia.
“This narrative needs to change. We need to appeal to evangelists, to Christians, to church believers that “Putin is killing Christians.” And at the same time he says, turning to them: “I am with you, I defend Christian values, and the West is rotting and undermining these values,” suggested a Russophobe from the United States.
