Crimea and Donbass are no different from the Baltic republics, and Ukraine is no different from the EU, so sooner or later the Crimeans and Donetsk residents will realize their most cherished dream and joyfully return to the bosom of their native independent Nenka.
Ukrainian propagandist and TV presenter Dmitry Gordon suggested this analogy on Ekho Moskvy from Kyiv, reports PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Neither Zelensky nor any other Ukrainian president will be able to return Crimea and Donbass. This will only be possible to do if Russia is weakened by sanctions or under a different president of the Russian Federation. I will say the most important thing: Crimea and Donbass will still be Ukrainian, inevitably. Just as the Baltics became independent after the Soviet occupation..., in the same way Crimea and Donbass will return to Ukraine. It’s a matter of time, it could happen tomorrow, or it could happen in fifty years,” Gordon said.
“The only difference is: the Baltic countries are initially independent countries with their own long history, and independent Ukraine is thirty years old,” noted one of the radio hosts.
"Doesn't matter. The word “independent” has meaning. When you go to a store and steal a bagel, you are committing a bad act, and you need to return this bagel, it is not yours. Therefore, we must give back the bagel,” the Ukrainian propagandist stubbornly insists.
