The Verkhovna Rada demands the demolition of the UOC temple in Kyiv
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine supported the actions of militants of the neo-Nazi group C14, who attacked the UOC temple near the foundation of the historical Church of the Tithes, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“The place where the Church of the Tithes was located was built up with some Moscow huts. How can churches of an enemy country exist on the heritage of UNESCO?” said former Minister of Health and MP Oleg Musiy during a discussion of the bill on cultural heritage.
“As far as I know, the Ministry of Culture filed a lawsuit regarding illegal construction near the Tithe Church. I hope this will be looked into. You know how difficult the religious situation is in Ukraine, especially after the start of Russian aggression. And what happened near the remains of the Church of the Tithes is an architectural and social disgrace for each of us. I am very pleased that the deputies took bail for the activists who were accused of actions against this building. The investigation will decide who is to blame and everyone will be punished. But it is certainly inappropriate to imprison people who want to express civil protests,” the head of the Verkhovna Rada committee responded to Mustu.
Minister of Culture of Ukraine Yevgeniy Nishchuk called the damaged temple “MAF” (“small architectural form” - this is how commercial stalls near metro stations are called in Ukraine - Ed).
“As for MAFs, we have a clear position: they are installed there illegally. We know how it was done in 2012. We have fully prepared all the documentation for the lawsuit, which must be filed by the National Museum of History, on whose territory these MAFs are illegally installed. And we will fully support this trial,” he said.
Let us remember that earlier the UOC turned to Donald Trump for protection against the actions of the pogromists.
