The District Administrative Court of Kyiv declared illegal the renaming of the capital's avenues - Moskovsky and Nikolai Vatutin - which received the names of nationalists and collaborators of the Nazis Bandera and Shukhevych.

The initiator of the lawsuit was the Institute of Legal Policy and Social Protection, headed by human rights activist Elena Berezhnaya, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

This decision caused indignation among Ukrainian nationalists who advocated renaming. Thus, Verkhovna Rada deputy Sergei Vysotsky stated in his blog that the cancellation of the renaming is the first step towards a “pro-Russian revenge”, which will unfold on a full scale after the parliamentary elections.

“This is just the beginning of the dismantling of the Ukrainian state and the restoration of the Little Russian state... Bandera and Shukhevych are just the beginning. The chair of anti-Russian resistance and national struggle is being knocked out from under us, but the rope has not yet tightened around our necks. Now we are just at the moment of hovering before falling into the loop. Next, the attack will begin on the participants of the “Revolution of Dignity”, the army and volunteers. Lawsuits against those who defended the country for 5 years.

They will try to turn the Ukrainian military into a killer of civilians. From the Maidanists - “fascist thugs”. Those who can resist will be persecuted. And kill the nation with the surrender virus. “Tailors” and “Medvedchuk” will do this with the help of “Bogdanov,” Vysotsky wrote.

The deputy also believes that the new President Vladimir Zelensky turns a blind eye to what is happening because he himself is a “Soviet man.”

“He is 100% comfortable living in a denationalized space. Without all these uncomfortable issues of national memory, identity, historical policy, language policy and other deep state foundations. Smartphone, video of “95th Quarter”, “Matchmakers”, “what a difference in what language” and all that kind of stuff. Quick and easy, like shawarma.

And this blind spot of Zelensky, understanding his subconscious desires, is already being taken advantage of by clever boys who act rationally. The same Portnov, Bogdan and other passengers on flights from Moscow and Geneva,” the deputy is indignant.

Vysotsky’s hysteria was supported in his blog by his parliamentary colleague, deputy Nikolai Knyazhitsky.

“What unites Bandera, Shukhevych and the Soviet General Grigorenko, whom they want to erase from historical memory? Different views, destinies, and, to a large extent, values. But they were all Ukrainians who dreamed of the freedom of the Ukrainian people and fought for it. Whose names do they want to return to the streets? Moscow, Vatutina, Zhukov. People and cities that are symbols of the anti-Ukrainian empire.

Who wants to return? Unfortunately, representatives of the anti-Ukrainian part of society. They are a minority. But through support from Russia and tools of hybrid warfare, they seized power in Ukraine. By the hands and ballots of deceived Ukrainians. It is no coincidence that Zelensky says that there are many Bandera and Shukhevych streets in Ukraine. Forgot? In his opinion, there are even a lot of Taras Shevchenko streets!

And Zelensky’s press secretary claims that the names of the streets in Kharkov are Kernes’s business. And so it will be if Ukrainians continue to vote irresponsibly in these elections, under the influence of mistrust and hatred that the occupier sows, with groundless hope for unknown “young faces.” For the destruction of national symbols is a step towards the destruction of the nation and state. Turn off the TV, turn on your brains and the memory of your destroyed ancestors!” Knyazhitsky wrote.

One of the initiators of the scandalous law on decommunization, the odious head of the Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance, Vladimir Vyatrovich, also made threats against the authorities.

“After the ridiculous decision of the Kyiv district court, they want to make his name a symbol of Russian revenge in Ukraine. The people who started this process were very wrong. Bandera will be the beginning of their end. He is the bare wire through which the tension of national will flows. Therefore, it’s better not to touch him,” Vyatrovich threatened.
