The Russian side is surprised that the Constitutional Court of Moldova, on the proposal of deputies who remain close to the criminal oligarch Vlad Plahotniuc, who fled the country, suspended the agreement on a loan of 200 million euros.
Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in Moldova Vladislav Darvay stated this in an interview with the Noi website, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In short, Moldova never ceases to amaze. The endless charge of political elites to create scandals out of nowhere demotivates any sensible entrepreneur to establish any long-term ties with the republic,” Darvay stated.
According to him, Russia cannot understand why Moldova is refusing profitable trade and economic relations.
“If this is such a sacrifice by the people and the country, brought on the geopolitical altar, then I am sincerely sorry... In Moldova there are also those who, for selfish political reasons, are ready to endlessly distort and distort the Russian position, provoke tension among people, and create artificial barriers.
And after all this, you also blame Russia, that it is its fault that life is difficult. We know very well who the author of such concepts is. And this once again proves that they are trying to artificially, even forcefully, quarrel with Russia,” concluded Darvay.
