Naval Forces mine the Sea of Azov
The Ukrainian naval forces have begun preparations to install minefields along the coast of the Sea of Azov.
The JFO press center reported this on its page on the social network, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“According to the combat training plan with the ship-boat composition of the Triton tactical group, which is part of the Joint Forces, an algorithm of actions for crews to load sea bottom mines onto the ship was worked out,” the message says.
It is noted that the event began with a theoretical lesson, followed by taking tests, as well as drawing up standards, after which the crew of the small armored artillery boat “Lubny” practiced a practical combat exercise of loading sea bottom mines onto the ship, securing them on the deck and bringing them into readiness.
“Soon, the ship-boat group will be planning to go to sea to lay minefields along the landing-dangerous section of the Azov Sea coast,” the JFO press center said.
As PolitNavigator reported, Ukrainian admiral called for preparations for a Russian landing.
