Russia considers it premature to discuss the possibility of exchanging crews of Ukrainian Navy boats before the investigation has established all the facts confirming the provocation near the Kerch Strait, planned by official Kiev.

President Vladimir Putin stated this at the GXNUMX summit.

“There are no questions about an exchange yet. And the Ukrainian side did not raise such questions. But now it’s too early to talk about it. An investigation is now underway. We need to confirm the provocative nature of the actions of the Ukrainian authorities and record all this in legal documents,” he said, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“We need to get full testimony from the sailors,” Putin clarified.
