An ATO militant from the “King Daniel Brigade” died in Lviv

In the Lviv region, a couple of weeks before his fortieth birthday, ATGM battery commander Vladimir Gera, who participated in the punitive operation in the Donbass, died.

This was reported on the Facebook page of the Yavorov regional state administration, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Gera Vladimir was born on April 1, 1979. When the ATO began, he was mobilized, fought near Zelenopole, and was on the front line. After demobilization, he signed a contract with the 24th Brigade named after. King Daniel, participated in the defense of Crimea. He held the position of commander of a combat vehicle of an anti-tank guided missile battery of an anti-tank artillery battalion,” the statement says.

Gera was born and raised in the village of Chernilyava, Yavorovsky district, Lviv region. The militant is survived by his wife, son and daughter.
