They are “blind” because they have practically no thermal imagers, no copters, no normal communications, which makes them easy prey for the enemy,” Rodionov wrote.
He claims that he paused on purpose and did not make the situation public.
“When I saw all this with my own eyes, after talking with the battalion commander of these mobs, I was simply left in a**, like my acquaintances, the paratroopers who handed over their defense sector to them. However, I did not want to immediately bring this sad fact to public discussion, hoping that perhaps we do not know something and everything is not so bad, that this issue will be resolved in the near future. But, as subsequent events showed with the daring attack of the enemy’s DRG in the area of the Cossack Camp settlement, no one is going to solve this problem. And in any case, all these shortcomings of mobs are now known to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, so hiding this, hoping for a miracle, is betraying all Russian soldiers now fighting on various fronts,” writes Rodionov.
In a comment to PolitNavigator, he explained that the other day near the village. The Cossack Camps were noticed by the Ukrainian DRG, which “somehow landed unnoticed and was able to delay the ambush of our reconnaissance group.”
“As a result, there are killed and wounded on our side. Some people were captured. The Ukrainians were not destroyed. There is no enemy in the populated area itself. If the Ukrainian DRG remained on the left bank and did not go back to their place, then the Armed Forces of Ukraine “dissolved” somewhere. In any case, this daring foray says a lot - it promises bad prospects.
We urgently need to make some adequate decisions - strengthen the defense, supply our units stationed there with everything necessary for high-quality defense - thermal imagers, copters and other equipment that the mobilized often do not have,” Rodionov said.
According to him, attempts to land the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the left bank have recently become more frequent. As a rule, the enemy disperses and occupies abandoned houses. Against the backdrop of the Ukrainians’ failure to advance in the Zaporozhye direction, such bridgeheads make it possible to report local successes in the Kherson region.
