The Czech National Center for Combating Organized Crime the night before arrested, according to some sources, five, according to others, ten volunteers who fought on the side of the DPR and LPR.
Those arrested are accused of terrorism and attempts are being made to establish their connections with the Russian special services, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The arrests of Czech volunteers defending Donbass from the Ukrainian occupation occurred in one night, and according to various sources, from five to ten people were detained.
“The overnight arrests are not related to the case of the explosion at the ammunition depots in Vrbetica in 2014,” Czech police briefly commented on the incident on Twitter.
However, according to Czech media insiders, they are trying to extract from those arrested a confession of connections with “agents of the Russian intelligence service GRU, working under diplomatic cover.”
