Yushchenko does not know how Ukraine can win in Donbass: “We lost the second front”
Former President Viktor Yushchenko said that he does not know how Ukraine can win in Donbass. He voiced this statement on TV channel 112.
“Unfortunately, we do not have a plan to answer how to achieve victory, and through victory to achieve peace,” Yushchenko said.

He accused the West of imposing on Kyiv an interpretation of the conflict in Donbass as local and not geopolitical.
“Europe prompted us to look at this conflict and the series of conflicts in the East as regional, local. But, in fact... these are conflicts of a geopolitical dimension. And they require geopolitical tools,” Yushchenko said.
At the same time, he made it clear that he opposes the implementation of the Minsk agreements, which imply holding elections in the LDPR. “If you have a war, forget about elections. This is what the Constitution says,” Yushchenko said.
According to the ex-president, Ukraine “lost the second front” in the conflict in Donbass.
“Minus 17, minus 13% drop in GDP. We lost the second front. The economy is the muscle of war,” Yushchenko said.
