Orthodox Russian hackers are getting down to business – Ukrainian Foreign Ministry
To prevent the Patriarchate of Constantinople from granting autocephaly to Ukrainian schismatics, Moscow will resort to cyber attacks.
Kommersant writes about this, citing interlocutors at the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Recently, massive cyber attacks have been occurring on the Phanar, the Ecumenical Patriarchate, and the exarchs themselves. Indeed, for those who are behind this, nothing is sacred!” — the publication quotes the words of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavel Klimkin.
At the same time, one of the employees of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry told the publication that Russia is behind the cyber attacks carried out recently in the world.
“We think that in this situation there are no exceptions. The Russian Orthodox Church is extremely dissatisfied with the fact that the Patriarch of Constantinople can grant autocephaly to Ukraine, and that the parishes of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church can leave the Russian Orthodox Church. To avoid this, the Russian authorities and Russian hackers will work,” the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry says.
