Workers at the Kremenchug locomotive depot declared an “Italian strike,” that is, “work according to instructions.” Not a single locomotive entered the line, because none of them is technically serviceable.

This was announced by the head of the Free Trade Union of Railway Workers operating at the enterprise, Sergei Moskalets.
According to him, now 30 workers did not go to work on faulty locomotives.
“These locomotives pose a serious threat to life and health of both workers, passengers and the environment!” – says Moskalets.
According to him, the locomotives do not comply with operating rules. This is a violation of the Rules for the Operation of Railways (clause 12.4) and Art. 6 of the Law of Ukraine “On Labor Protection”.
In total, there are 600 workers in the depot, and 300 people in the Free Trade Union.
The trade unions outlined their demands in a letter addressed to Prime Minister Vladimir Groysman.
We also note that the railway strike is being actively politicized by far-right forces. Thus, support for the demands of the strikers has already been announced in the National Corps party, which cooperates with the Confederation of Free Trade Unions of Ukraine. https://vk.com/wall-72444174_62752
“Igor Knyazhansky, deputy chairman of the Confederation of Free Trade Unions of Ukraine and a representative of the National Corps, activists of the Kremenchug, Alexandria and Svetlovodsk branches of the National Corps are defending railway workers from the arbitrariness of the administration and supporting their demands. They keep order and promise to support the demands of railway workers for safe work and safety for passengers,” the far-right party said in a statement.
According to the National Corps, for several years the administration tried to suppress the free trade union of railway workers. In particular, the premises for holding the meeting were taken away from them. Applications submitted by railway workers to the police were rejected every time. All this can be easily proven by the pile of documentation that railway employees keep. Every time, with any complaint in the media, the administration began persecuting the “dissatisfied”,” the statement further reads.
“The terribly stark contrast between the regular carriages and those equipped for first class customers is simply amazing. And those who can buy themselves an upgraded class ticket don’t even think about the fact that if other carriages, which are nothing more than ordinary scrap metal, go downhill, they will pull the entire train with them,” they say ultra-right party activists.
