Why did Poroshenko condemn the residents of Avdiivka to suffering?
Petro Poroshenko specifically condemned the residents of Avdiivka, occupied by Ukrainian troops, to suffering. All statements about a humanitarian catastrophe are a bluff. The city's life support systems could be restored in a matter of hours. Kyiv just didn’t need it.
This version is expressed by Donetsk blogger Denis Seleznev in the latest release of his video project.

“Both branches of power lines that feed Avdiivka are at the epicenter of the most active hostilities. Over the past six months, breaks have occurred several times. The city was repeatedly left without water and electricity, and the coke plant was on the verge of shutdown.
A similar situation occurred on January 12 of this year, December 7 and 24, 2016, but then there was no political necessity, and therefore neither Poroshenko nor Ukrainian activist journalists were very concerned about the fate of the residents.
Now, when the situation has repeated itself, and there is a need to hold a show, they suddenly remembered this city. Therefore, although the shell that interrupted the power line could have come from either one side or the other, Ukraine is trying with all its might to benefit from this situation, and therefore in every possible way prevents the ceasefire and the carrying out of repair work, which could eliminate the accident within a few hours.” , explains the author.
