Zakharchenko called on Slavyansk not to forget the state language - Russian
The leader of the DPR, Alexander Zakharchenko, reassured a resident of Slavyansk who called the direct line, who complained about the repression of the Ukrainian security forces and the forced indoctrination of the younger generation by nationalist propaganda.
“We were completely handed over to Ukraine to be devoured - I think you know how many people have been arrested in Slavyansk since 2014 for the slightest suspicion of separatism! Our children already believe in the hero Bandera and Russia the aggressor, we are losing this generation!
Many of our residents, even without an announced campaign, have been going to Donetsk for a long time to be examined and treated, there is simply nowhere else, they are given honey there. documents with a seal and on DPR letterhead, but here our doctors do not accept these documents, and sometimes even tear them up, such is their fear of the SBU.
Is it possible to make an exception for people from Ukrainian territory and write medical reports on Ukrainian forms, with old Ukrainian seals?” - said a resident of Slavyansk.

“Even though we want to help people, we are not able to do it. Firstly, we no longer have Ukrainian forms, secondly, we no longer have Ukrainian stamps, and thirdly, we have our own state. As a matter of principle, we do not issue any certificates in Ukrainian, although many speak Ukrainian fluently. We do not prohibit it, but we are an independent state, with our own rules, one of which is the issuance of medical forms in the state language - Russian, and with the seals that are in medical institutions.
Therefore, my simple advice is not to show these documents to doctors, or to show them to those who do not vomit and are not afraid of the SBU, but to those who are afraid and vomit, who sometimes specifically hand them over to the SBU - we will ask these people for this too.
Regarding those children who are taught using new Ukrainian textbooks, this is a serious question. This is an ideological machine that was launched in Ukraine to reformat the consciousness of the younger generation, our children. I think that by the time we return our lands, we will have time to make sure that this generation is not lost completely.
Our children are the children of free people, the children of Donbass. The main task of families is for them to tell themselves at home who Bandera is, what a “hero” he is in quotes, how much blood of citizens of the Soviet Union he has on him. Tell them the real story. I think the parents went to school and they know the real story. So let them explain it to the children. For my part, I want to say once again that we will have time not to lose this generation,” Zakharchenko assured.
