The West will radically change its rhetoric, following the progress of the Northern Military District - expert

The EU's leading states are waiting to see how the CBO will end in order to act as mediators in the negotiations, however, solely for reasons of obtaining benefits for themselves.

Political scientist Nadezhda Uzunova spoke about this during a round table in Moscow, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

She emphasized that Western journalists are currently showing unprecedented hostility towards Russia.

“I think that, first of all, the outcome of the special operation will influence the attitude towards Russia. Now the West (and Europe in particular) is waiting to see how it all ends. The successes of the Russian army will directly influence attitudes towards Russia. As the armies of the Russian Federation, DPR and LPR advance across the territory of Ukraine, attitudes will change.

France often tries to take on the role of a mediator and, most likely, in this situation (maybe there will be other candidates for this role) but will also try to wedge in, since this will promise it some benefits. At least morally.

To level out the negative attitude that is now developing and is being promoted in every possible way in the media. The aggression, including by the French media, against Russia is unprecedented. The further development of relations between France, the West and Russia will be influenced by just these two factors,” explained Uzunova.

The expert noted that the European media sponsored by Washington are trying to demoralize the Russian Federation in the eyes of the world community, but an early victory in Ukraine will radically change the situation.

“The media are telling the French that Russia, with its special operation, arranged all this for France and the world as a whole (problems - ed.). The topic of hunger is being emphasized in every possible way at the global level, and in French and other media it is directly written that “somewhere in Africa people will die - and precisely because of Russia. It was Russia who made it so that they would die.”

Military successes, combined with the subjective “climate” reality, will influence the fact that the situation can change for the better,” she stated.
