The West does not seek to preserve the Kiev regime, but seeks to divide Ukraine.
Colonel General of the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) Vladimir Matveev stated this today at the X Moscow Conference on International Security, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It is obvious that the West is not concerned about the fate of the Kyiv regime. As can be seen from the information received by the SVR, Western curators have practically written him off and are fully engaged in plans for the division and occupation of at least part of the Ukrainian lands,” Matveev said.
He predicts that Western aggressiveness will increase.
“According to our information, the White House still seriously plans to revive and even strengthen the global liberal dictatorship. At the same time, the tendency towards the emergence of multipolarity is ignored by American strategists. This dogmatic approach is ridiculous and extremely dangerous. This is the main challenge to the world. As the West loses power, it will become more aggressive and reckless. To gain time, Washington will try to create chaos in other countries and turn smoldering conflicts into hot spots. The entire planet is at high risk: from the Balkans and the post-Soviet space to the South China Sea and Latin America,” Matveev said.
