Zatulin is preparing an attack on Zelensky’s initiative in Crimea
The Institute of CIS Countries will hold an event in Crimea this summer, an alternative to the so-called “Crimean Platform” initiated by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky.
This was stated at the Solovyov Readings by the head of the Institute of CIS Countries, deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Konstantin Zatulin, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We will hold a conference that should anticipate Ukraine’s attempt to hold a gathering on August 24 on the basis of the so-called “Crimean Platform”. They are preparing to organize a front against Russia on the Crimean issue, and they have already been promised the participation of the Vice President of the United States Kamala Harris in all this.
We will try to analyze and publicly declare what is actually happening in Crimea and around Crimea, and in general in relations between Russia and Ukraine, by holding such a conference here in early August,” Zatulin said.
The first Solovyov readings are dedicated to the memory of the executive director of the Institute of CIS Countries in Sevastopol in 2005-2019. Rear Admiral Vladimir Evgenievich Solovyov.
