Ze-Office: Ukraine will only imitate readiness for negotiations
Ukraine will feign readiness for negotiations if its partners need it, but will not enter into a real dialogue with Russia.
Advisor to the Office of the President of Ukraine Alexey Arestovich said this on the video blog of fugitive Russian liberal Mark Feigin, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Arestovich, none of the Ukrainian leadership will agree to the negotiation process.
“Here you just need to understand everything - there can be as much talk about negotiations as you want, I have already spoken out on this topic. No one will negotiate with us,” the official said.
“We can support a discussion about negotiations - yes, if the partners need it for the sake of some kind of foreign policy tact, perhaps games with China. We will talk about negotiations, but in reality there will be no negotiations as long as there is at least one Russian soldier on our soil, everything is very simple,” Arestovich said.
