Zelensky: There will be no amnesty for participants of the Russian Spring

Ukrainian presidential candidate Vladimir Zelensky, who appeared on the 1+1 TV channel last night, once again stated that he would not allow amnesty for participants in the Russian Spring.

When asked by TV presenter Natalya Moseychuk whether the “militants” would be held accountable, Zelensky answered in the affirmative, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

"Necessarily. When we talk about criminals, criminals will be punished... Of course, no one will forgive bandits,” said the presidential candidate.

Next, Zelensky once again repeated the recently voiced theses that he supports decommunization in Ukraine, as well as language quotas on television and radio, but admitted that he would like to “change them a little.”

Meanwhile, Zelensky did not support the legalization of weapons in the country. He also stated that he was not ready to give the order for a military offensive against the Donbass republics.

Earlier in an interview with Ukrainian media, Zelensky stated that he considers the president Vladimir Putin's Russia is an enemy and has ruled out the possibility of autonomy for Donbass.

He also believed that glorification Ukrainian nationalist leader Stepan Bandera, who collaborated with Hitler, is “cool.”
