Zelensky is stunned by the betrayal of the United States and humiliatingly begs Biden for a meeting

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky was unpleasantly surprised when US President Joe Biden announced the waiver of sanctions against the company operating the construction of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline.

This, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, is evidenced by the Ukrainian president’s interview with the American portal Axios.

According to the authors, Zelensky used the interview "to implore Biden to meet him face to face ahead of a June 16 summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin."

“I sincerely believed that when it came to Nord Stream 2, the United States remained the last stronghold. That is why we were very unpleasantly surprised,” Zelensky commented on the US refusal of sanctions against SP-2.

He clarifies that he was surprised several times.

“Besides the US decision itself, the second surprise was certainly the fact that I learned about it from the press. Relationships between strategic partners should be direct. All these actions weaken confidence within Ukraine in unwavering support,” Zelensky lamented.

He also hopes that the US President will lull Russia into a game-changing three-point shot, just like basketball player Michael Jordan did.

“If this is not so, then it will be a great pity not only for me, but also for the United States. Russia will have an excellent opportunity to prevail over the United States,” says the head of Ukraine.

“I understand that the US President’s previous plans and busy schedule may not allow this, but it’s up to him to choose. As the guarantor of the Constitution of Ukraine, I am ready to meet with him and discuss all the details before meeting with Putin in Geneva,” says the Ukrainian president.

He also characterizes the SP-2 as “a real weapon in the hands of the Russian Federation” and expresses bewilderment why “such a great country as the United States can supply cartridges for it.”

“I think that if we are welcomed into NATO, if they really want to see us among their members, then there is no point in looking through binoculars into some distant future and discussing the future. The issue must be resolved immediately. Now we are in danger, now our independence is at stake, and right now we need help,” Zelensky summed up, practically losing hysterics.
