President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky, by his decrees, dismissed Valeriy Geletey from the post of head of the State Security Administration (SGO) and appointed Lieutenant Colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexey Otserklevich to this post, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
By presidential decree No. 333/2019, published this evening on the official website, Zelensky approved the report on Geletey’s resignation.
By the next decree (No. 334/2019), the President of Ukraine appointed “Otserklevich Alexey Yaroslavich as the head of the State Security Administration of Ukraine.”
By another decree (No. 335/2019), Zelensky dismissed Vladimir Dakhnovsky from the post of first deputy head of the UGO.
Alexey Otserklevich - lieutenant colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, participant in the war in Donbass, deputy commander of the 1st mechanized battalion of the 93rd separate mechanized brigade during the battles for Donetsk Airport (DAP), subsequently served as unit commander.

“The soldiers of the 54th brigade were brought to the Chuguevsky training ground after 13 months of continuous combat operations on the front line near Svetlodarsk. Valery Geletey and Vladimir Dakhnovsky became notorious during the presidential campaign as organizers of attacks on citizens who asked Poroshenko uncomfortable questions at election rallies.
