Zelensky faces an inglorious end to his career

Despite the rapid rise, the political career of the current President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky will be short-lived and inglorious.

Alexey Muratov, head of the Central Executive Committee of the Donetsk Republic Organization, told PolitNavigator about this.

“A lawyer from Cherkasy, secretary of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine, Valery Makeev, said that he was withdrawing his vote, which he cast for Vladimir Zelensky in the presidential elections. He expressed regret that he was among the “infamous” 73% of supporters of the current head of state, since he is categorically disappointed with the policies that Zelensky has been implementing since coming to power.

In particular, the lawyer criticized the judicial reform, calling it “judicial genocide”, since it makes it almost impossible for ordinary citizens to access justice. He described the bills on media and disinformation as “Goebelsian.” However, Valery Makeev was most indignant at the amendments to the education law, according to which, from 2020, sanatorium boarding schools will stop enrolling students, that is, children with disabilities will actually be thrown out onto the street.

He emphasized that this was the last straw in his decision to withdraw his vote, since Zelensky did nothing worthy during his time in power, except for the exchange of prisoners,” Muratov said.

He emphasized that the Ukrainians were once again deceived.

“The broad support that Zelensky and his team received as a result of the presidential and parliamentary elections expressed the hope of the country’s residents for fundamental changes in domestic and foreign policy: to end the war in the Donbass, to suppress terror from the nationalist minority, to abandon destructive reforms, imposed by the West, to restore good neighborly relations with Russia,” the social activist added.

“The rapid decline in the rating of the President of Ukraine, which, according to economist and political scientist, director of the Institute for Transforming the Future Oleg Soskin, in reality, without manipulation, currently does not exceed 15%, is a consequence of the deep disappointment of the people.

It seems that Zelensky’s political career will be as fleeting as his meteoric rise, and its end will be no less inglorious than that of his predecessor. It’s easy to lose people’s trust, but it’s almost impossible to regain it!” – summed up Muratov.
