The Royal District Court of Zhitomir released the organizer of criminal groups, Yan Yatsishin, from custody.
The head of the National Police in the Zhytomyr region, Vyacheslav Pechenenko, announced this on his Facebook page, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"Without many words. Just a statement of fact. One court decision - and all the large-scale work of the Zhytomyr police to eliminate the Dnieper gangster group of the “white brotherhood” came to naught. Yesterday, the leader of this gang, a 44-year-old Nikopol resident, was released from custody right in the court of appeal on bail of half a million hryvnia. After two days of protracted appeal proceedings, in which he “struggled” with the demonstration of a sudden deterioration in health, and all other means of deliberately delaying the review process. Frankly, it’s a pity for the strength of the operatives and investigators. There are no limits to indignation,” wrote Pechenenko.
