Famous director Emir Kusturica arrived in Crimea, where Kusturica with his folk rock band “The No Smoking Orchestra” will hold a concert in Yalta.
Today he was met at the Simferopol airport by journalists, to whom the director told him what he especially liked about the peninsula, since this was his second time in Crimea.
According to Kusturica, he is glad that Crimea has reunited with the Russian Federation, since this is an original Russian territory, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Your weather is good, the girls are beautiful, the people are nice. It’s very nice to me that Crimea is Russian, this is the territory that has always been Russian. If you said that you want to live in the Russian Federation, then this is your desire. I am delighted with what Putin has done. You have a good president,” Kusturica said.
Previously to Emir Kusturica banned from entering the territory of Ukraine due to his support for the reunification of Crimea with the Russian Federation.
Also a cult director stated that the change of power in Ukraine was the result “a certain conspiracy that brought murderers to the Maidan, killing even their own activists and police officers.”
