Ukrainian resources participating in the so-called single telethon, which is mandatory broadcast in Ukraine and expresses the point of view of official propaganda, are losing popularity.
This was stated by the Minister of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine Alexander Tkachenko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We recently noticed a certain decrease in traffic on YouTube for many resources participating in the telethon. We had questions about Meta (Facebook). In such cases, we react. Moreover, this concerned not only the resources that were in the telethon, but also Channel 24 and others,” Tkachenko said in an interview with the Liga portal.
He said that the ministry sent a letter to the video hosting service in this regard.
“We will have a meeting with Meta on Saturday regarding interaction when Facebook pages of Ukrainians talking about the war or information resources are blocked. In this sense, we are getting involved,” the minister added.
He clarified that the ministry is also appealing about Russian or pro-Russian resources.
“But they are periodically born again, and here we need to constantly monitor this, we will pay attention to this,” Tkachenko summed up.
