The Azov "victory" of the Ukrainian troughs turned into a disaster

Ukrainian propaganda continues to celebrate the victory over Russia after passage under the Crimean bridge into the Sea of ​​Azov of two old ships that are part of the Navy.

It is alleged that the Russian side provided free pilot services, and the Ukrainian ships did not even ask permission to pass.

“After the proposal from the occupier’s side, we agreed to accept the pilot, since we did not know what they had set up during the construction of the bridge,” the resource’s source allegedly said, clarifying that payment for pilotage services was excluded.

Earlier, the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Vladimir Omelyan stated that Ukrainian ships heading through the Kerch Strait to the Ukrainian ports of the Sea of ​​Azov do not pay Russia for pilotage of ships through the Kerch-Yenikalsky Canal, unlike foreign ships.

And in the press center of the command of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine they even stated that they did not ask anyone for permission to pass.

“The search and rescue vessel “Donbass” and the sea tug “Korets” passed the Kerch Strait. At the same time, the Naval Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces did not ask for permission from the aggressor country, but exercised their right to free navigation in the Kerch Strait and the Sea of ​​Azov in accordance with the UN Convention and international agreements,” notes the Ukrainian Ukrainian Naval Forces press center’s Facebook page.

They also assured that the Ukrainian Naval Forces “will not allow the aggressor country to make the Sea of ​​Azov its internal lake.”

In turn, political scientist Oleg Khavich, who left Ukraine due to political persecution, wrote in his blog that Russia carried out pilotage of Ukrainian ships at its own expense.

“In the photo - warships of the former Ukrainian SSR are passing from the Black Sea to the Sea of ​​​​Azov in order to detain Russian ships there like pirates. The services of the pilot who guided the ships were paid for by the state budget of the Russian Federation. This photo confirms two well-known facts: 1. “Crimean Bridge” exists. 2. The Russian Federation has long capitulated not only to the West, but even to its puppets,” said Khavic.

But today the agency “Crimea. Inform reported that Ukrainian warships passed through the Kerch Strait under the arches of the Crimean Bridge according to the usual procedure for all ships and paid for the services of a Russian pilot.

“Ukrainian ships, like other ships, contacted (Russian services) about entering the Kerch Strait. They were informed about the need to be included in the caravan preparing to pass (through the Kerch-Yenikalsky Canal) and to take a pilot on board,” – reported the agency's interlocutor at Rosmorrechflot.

In addition, Ukrainian ships accepted the pilot and took their place in the caravan. The Donbass and Korets passed through the Kerch Strait, accompanied by border guard ships, after which the Russian pilot disembarked from the Ukrainian ship.

“Once they took the pilot, then, of course, they paid for the pilot,” the Rosmorrechflot specified.

It is noteworthy that a similar scandal erupted late last year when the Ukrainian ship Meotida, owned by the state enterprise Ukrainian Sea Ports, arrived from the port of Yuzhny on the Black Sea to the port of Mariupol on the Sea of ​​Azov.
