The arrogance of the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has played a bad joke on him - now he is forced to back down and surrender to the mercy of Moscow.
One of the leaders of the People's Movement of Ukraine, Lieutenant General of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Vilen Martirosyan, stated this on the Nash TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“You see, Lukashenko is already behaving differently in front of Putin. At first he thought that he had become a king. Putin came out in an advantageous position in the situation with Belarus; he was ahead of the United States and those who stand in this situation, on the other hand. Putin also put Lukashenko in his place, and after that he will not pretend to be the Old Man. He was once the Old Man, but now, unfortunately, his arrogance, swagger, and so on are playing against him,” Martirosyan noted.
Let us remind you that earlier Alexander Lukashenko suddenly worried about NATO activity near the country's borders, although in recent weeks he has repeatedly declared a threat to Belarusian sovereignty from Russia.
