Russia will defend by military means the infrastructure of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline in the Baltic Sea, as it is now defending the Crimean Bridge, near which Ukrainian Navy boats were shot at during an attempt to break through the Russian border.
Petro Poroshenko’s godfather and concurrently the representative of the President of Ukraine in the Verkhovna Rada, Irina Lutsenko, stated this on air on the ZIK TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Someone from the Polish government said that Russia can afford such actions as in the Kerch Strait in the Baltic. This means that when it lays the Nord Stream 2 pipes, it will say that it is protecting its infrastructure.
Both the President of Ukraine and Groysman said that Nord Stream 2 is an additional weapon in the hands of the Russian Federation. This suggests that Russia in the Kerch Strait not only created a precedent that led to military aggression. She thus tests the free world.
