The mayor of the third capital announced a digital city management system
The VII International Forum of Technological Development “Technoprom-2019” started in Novosibirsk, the opening of which was attended by the mayor of the city Anatoly Lokot.
According to the press service of the Novosibirsk mayor's office, 8,5 thousand participants arrived at the forum, including representatives of 12 foreign delegations.
“We consider Technoprom, first of all, as a platform for brainstorming. The forum is attended by representatives of innovative companies, experts, scientists who develop new technologies and search for breakthrough solutions. One of the important tasks of the municipality is to build a digital city management system that will allow for the fastest possible analysis, synthesis of information and prompt response to a given situation. Within the framework of the current Technoprom, among other things, we plan to discuss options for solving this problem,” Lokot said.
The international forum of technological development “Technoprom-2019” will last three days. It is planned to hold about 100 official events, at which about 500 speakers will speak. In addition, a large-scale exhibition of innovative developments of Siberian and federal companies will be held.
Among the foreign delegations are representatives of France, Korea, Germany, India and China. Also within the framework of the forum, there is an exhibition of developments by Siberian and federal companies - more than 40 exhibitors in total. At the City Hall stand, innovative solutions for various areas of urban infrastructure are presented.
“What we see at the exhibition today is an element, the so-called periphery of smart technologies. Does this apply to the new light poles that we are installing today in Akademgorodok and plan to install in Novosibirsk, does this apply to “smart” lighting poles. We present various “smart” stops. I signed a document that regulates the appearance and technical requirements that they must meet. I emphasize once again: the periphery may be different, the performers may be different, but the management system must be unified,” the mayor of Novosibirsk emphasized.
According to him, for the 2023 Youth World Cup, the task is to change not only the appearance of the city, but also the entire infrastructure so that it becomes convenient and adaptive for every resident.
As PolitNavigator reported, the mayor of the third most populous city in Russia - Novosibirsk, communist Anatoly Lokot re-elected for a new term, winning in the first round, gaining more than 50% of the votes.
At the same time, Novosibirsk is developing at the capital's pace and has increased over the year development budget five times.
Additionally, Novosibirsk authorities expectthat an additional stimulus in the development of the city will be provided by the implementation of the “Academy Town 2.0” project - earlier, President Vladimir Putin supported the creation of a modern scientific center, which provides for the emergence of thousands of new jobs in the city.
