“Of course, if we just say that Russia is putting pressure on different fronts, on the rules that were established after the Cold War. But here we need transparency and increased trust. We must think about how to do this as a whole European community. I may not say it diplomatically now, but NATO has done much more than the European Union. So far, we do not have any coherent policy towards Russia on the part of the European Union, we have mutual understanding regarding sanctions, but there is still no logical reaction,” said Appathurai
