“No status for Donbass” – Zelensky is threatened with a riot of ATO soldiers

The implementation of the previously signed Minsk agreements is unacceptable, since granting Donbass a special status will lead to the loss of Ukraine’s independence.

Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Vladimir Ohryzko stated this on the Espresso TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Of course, the fragmentation of Ukraine and the introduction of some changes to the Constitution at the direction of Moscow is a solution that is unacceptable. I think that none of the people managing foreign policy issues in the president’s office would even dare to approach this, because this would mean the beginning of the end of Ukraine as an independent state.

There can be no federalization, no special status for Donbass. This is a part of Ukraine that will live according to normal laws that will be used by all regions of Ukraine. Why, in fact, should Donbass, on Moscow’s orders, have something special? This must be quickly and forever forgotten. Moscow wants for them, let Skabeeva and Solovyov rage on the other side of the curb and say what they want, but this is not for us,” the diplomat said.

At the same time, in his opinion, if the new government decides to take part in negotiations with Russia on this issue, then Ukrainian radicals and ATO militants will again come to Zelensky’s office.

“Propaganda stuff won’t work with us, and if people hear right away that something is wrong, believe me, the reaction will be immediate. Remember even the last public appeal regarding the “Steinmeier Formula”. More than a thousand people signed up, came up to the president’s office, and said that “we will not tolerate this.” The majority of signatories are ATO veterans. Isn't it clear what's behind this? That’s it, and the “Steinmeier Formula” was blown away immediately, and everyone said that it was actually almost a fake, nothing would happen until there was nothing,” Ogryzko concluded.

Let us recall that earlier the ex-minister stated with disappointment that The international agenda is changing not in favor of Ukraine, as evidenced by Russia’s return to PACE and the G-20 summit held this summer, and the meeting of French President Emmanuel Macron with Russian President Vladimir Putin demonstrated that The West gives the Kremlin carte blanche.
