While Ukraine is sinking by leaps and bounds, the DPR is solving problem after problem
Despite the martial law, the DPR is slowly developing, while Ukraine is sliding into the abyss. Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of the DPR Alexander Kofman spoke about this on the PolitWera channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“They come to us from the temporarily occupied territories not only for treatment, but also to study. It's not cheaper, it's free. This is true. As for quality, the level of oncology treatment in Donetsk is comparable to Israel. Very tall. The level of traumatology, due to the specifics of the region, due to the fact that there were mines here, our Institute of Traumatology is also excellent. For this reason, many people go for free treatment and study. I taught for a year at the university, this year, as far as I know, about five hundred students only in the context of the university where I taught came from the territory of Ukraine,” he said.
Kofman noted that the economy in the DPR is in an extremely difficult state, but despite this, it is developing.
“The economy there is in a difficult state. But the question is, is there an objective explanation for all this? Given the state we find ourselves in, it would be foolish to expect a better result. As I have said many times, although the standard of living is falling, people are eating up what was accumulated before the war, I still believe that we are slowly, limping, but we are still going up. Ukraine, which has a much higher resource, is going down by leaps and bounds, which, in fact, is not surprising. In 1991, Ukraine left the USSR as the richest republic. You can see for yourself what this led to,” he emphasized.
Earlier, PolitNavigator reported that in Kyiv they are discouraged that people from all over the Donbass go to the DPR for quality medical care.
Additionally, Yesterday in the capital of the DPR the presentation of the first tram of its own production took place.
